전 세계 100여 개 국가에서 활동하고 있는 세계최대규모 자연보전기관 WWF(세계자연기금) 한국본부에서 자연과 인류가 조화롭게 공존하는 지속 가능한 미래를 만들기 위한 Finance & Operations Director를 채용합니다. 


WWF-Korea의 Finance & Operations Director는 재무 관리 및 인사 운영을 총괄하게 됩니다. 조직의 재무 건전성을 유지하고, 회계 및 재무 보고, 예산 관리, 내부 통제 및 규정 준수를 책임지며, HR 및 운영 전반에 걸쳐 조직의 효율성을 높이는 역할을 수행하게 됩니다. 최소 15년 이상의 관련 경험과 뛰어난 재무 분석 능력을 가진 분들의 많은 지원을 바랍니다



Major Functions/Objectives of the Position 


The Finance & Operations Director (“F&O Director”) Serve as the primary advisor to the Executive Director on financial and operational matters, overseeing all fiscal, fiduciary, and HR responsibilities to ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.



Main Tasks & Responsibilities  


Financial Management 

  • Oversee and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with external regulatory and accounting guidance. 
  • Lead the preparation of financial reports for the Executive Director, Board of Directors, external agencies, and internal managers
  • Lead the development of annual operating and capital budgets, managing the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure corporate budgeting processes are conducted and reviewed.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and financial transactions to ensure sufficient funds are available for ongoing operational and capital investment needs.
  • Oversee project and grant management, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements stipulated in grant awards and contracts.
  • Manage the finance team; ensure the Senior Finance Officer is properly trained in all finance-related operations to appropriately respond to staff needs.


Internal Control, Risk & Compliance Management

  • Stay updated on best practices in nonprofit finance and internal controls, ensuring compliance with local regulations and WWF standards. 
  • Develop and distribute guidelines on social safeguard policies and risk management, provide risk management guidance to third parties, and report updates to WWF International while coordinating with network compliance teams
  • Analyze and mitigate risks, implement control measures, manage labor-related issues, and oversee the grievance mechanism and Complaints Resolution Process.
  • Recommend and implement regular compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to WWF policies and procedures.


HR Management

  • Manage human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff.
  • Develop HR strategies with organizational objectives by identifying and researching human resources issues; contribute information, analysis, and recommendations to organizational strategic thinking and direction.
  • Implement HR policy and procedure including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations, retention, and labor relations.
  • Manage the HR team; ensure the Senior HR Officer is properly trained in all HR-related functions to appropriately respond to staff needs.


Admin & Other

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, including office management, IT, contract management, and administration staff.
  • Support the Executive Director with all board-related tasks, including communication, drafting and reviewing board reports, agendas, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support WWF-Korea’s mission and goals.
 
Qualifications & Experience 


Required: 


Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related majors  
  • Detailed knowledge of finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • General knowledge of HR, people development and organizational development


Skills

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience including at least 5 years in a senior level finance or accounting position; CPA preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills both in English and Korean
  • Ability to speak, listen, and write clearly, thoroughly, and timely using appropriate communication tools and techniques.
  • Expertise in developing strategies, setting goals, creating and implementing action plans, and evaluating progress and outcome
  • Skills in assessing situations to identify causes, gather relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations or resolve problems.
  • Capability to evaluate situations for importance, urgency, and risk, making timely and clear decisions in the best interest of the organization.
  • Proficiency in setting priorities, developing work schedules, monitoring progress, and managing details and data effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach to working effectively with others to set goals, solve problems, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Capacity to positively influence and guide others to achieve results aligned with the organization’s best interests.
  • Nonprofit financial work experience preferred

Internal: Executive Director, Function Directors, Board Members, WWF International staff.


External: Accounting firm, audit firm, law firm, payroll outsourcing firm, local government agencies

  • 1년 계약직 (3개월 수습기간 포함)
  • 모든 포지션은 계약직으로 시작하며, 평가에 따라 계약 연장 및 무기계약직(정규직) 전환 가능
